Have you ever meet problem when your custom front-end module is forced to use secured SSL URL (HTTPS)? Well, this problem happen very random and somehow for example when you use same router name for both front-end and admin, however we have a solution to fix it.
In your module, you may declare router like this
<frontend> <routers> <offer> <use>standard</use> <args> <module>Padoosoft_Offer</module> <frontName>offer</frontName> </args> </offer> </routers> </frontend>
Try to change the router tag name and frontName to something else like offerpopup. Refresh cache (Refresh two times!!!). Now the problem should be solved with new URL router, if you wish to switch the old router, you can try but make sure that you don’t use same router name for admin section.
